Granite Tiling Job - Aderdeen

Nearly finished my contract tiling job in Aberdeen, 1 more week to go, then back home.

It's been tough going at times, but a really good experience.

Still in Aberdeen working hard on the commercial tiling job.

It's going to go on a little bit longer than expected... waiting around for other trades on the building site, always the same on these big commercial jobs.

We're managing to get down about 50 sq meters a day of Granite flagstones, which is quite good going...

I have been working in Aberdeen all week, on a big contract for an oil company called sub sea 7, 1200 sq mtr.... Granite flags 600mm x 600mm they are just like paving slabs and the area is massive,

All going well so far will keep you all updated as the weeks go on.....

Oh yeah the B & B is great....

Porch Floor And Outside Step, Paisley

Today I tiled the floor of a front porch with porcelain tiles. The lady had chosen special outdoor tiles in a matching colour for her front steps, the outdoor ones have grooves cut out of the treads to make them non slip, as wet tiles do have the potential to be slippy! A nice idea, it looks great!!

Ceramic Tiles In Bathroom, Erskine

Tiled my neighbours bathroom today, in Erskine. Clean crisp white ceramic tiles to match a nice new white bathroom suite. I made him a good saving on his tiles as i used my trade discount to get the tiles and materials for him. Nice to help a neighbour out and work so close to home.

Impregnator (sealant) For Porcelain Tiles

Tiled a full bathroom today in a nice brick effect. Cream/beige ceramic tiles on the walls and smokey grey porcelain tiles on the floor. Once again customer had not been told by the supplier that porcelain tiles are very porous and need to be sealed, especially in a bathroom where little wet patches can be common on the floor!

At long last the big job i was doing in Cambuslang, is finished...

Waiting around for a plumber can be a costly nightmare at times.... I started this job the begining of April, and it's been dragging ever since.....

But all done now can move on to the next.....
